Loren Linscott is a public speaker and educator on
interpersonal violence prevention. He has served as a guest lecturer and
trainer for high school and college students, practitioners, law enforcement,
and military personnel throughout the United States and abroad. Loren’s mission
is to promote positive change by providing individuals and communities with the
strategies to effectively prevent and respond to teen dating violence, family
violence, and sexual assault.
Loren’s engaging and interactive
speaking style allows him to connect with audience members from all walks of
life. His lectures are innovative, entertaining, and tailored to fit his
audience’s needs. Topics

Loren has devoted the past twelve years of his life to
designing, implementing and evaluating interpersonal violence prevention and
response programs. He recently returned to the United States after serving as a
Gender Issues Advisor for the United States Department of State in Iraq.
Additionally, Loren has over ten years of experience
providing direct services to individuals who have endured sexual assault and
intimate partner violence. He has served as a sexual assault response team
member, a crisis therapist, social services case manager, and a domestic
violence victim advocate.
Loren is currently working
for the Department of the Navy Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office
(DON SAPRO) as a program analyst. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in
Criminology from Washington State University and his Master of Science in
Criminology from Northern Arizona University.
